Yes. The Smart LED line of bulbs do require a hub. The Sengled Smart Hub is compatible with all of the bulbs and accessories from the Smart LED line. The SmartThings hubs and Echo Plus hubs are, as a general rule, compatible with almost all Sengled Smart LED bulbs and accessories.
