Can you use Corax white as a primer?

This is a great primer spray for models. This paint gives a great matt finish ideal as an undercoat for painting miniatures that really makes the top coats stand out vividly.

Is Corax white pure white?

Corax White is actually not a pure white but a very very light grey. I love to use it as a base colour for painting white, and also as an undercoat for lighter colours such as bone or yellow.

Is primer supposed to be grainy?

AndyG hit it on the head, this is normal for there primer and though you can try for better results save yourself and take my word that I have tried to get it to work and it just doesnt. Humbrol or testors are the way to go for guaranteed smooth results.
